Our coastal and valleys landscapes are best appreciated by getting out of the car and seeing for yourself what makes our area unique. Mountain biking, cycling, walking and surfing all come highly recommended as the best ways to experience the natural and industrial contrasts that shape our area.
Neath Port Talbot is located right at the centre of South Wales which makes our area a perfect base for exploring our entire region. Our capital city of Cardiff is conveniently close by with great transport links to major sports events, concerts and city centre shopping.
Gower Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Pembrokeshire coastline and rural retreats within Brecon Beacons National Park and Carmarthenshire are all within 30 to 40 minutes’ drive-time of our area’s own dramatic landscapes.
